Established with a passion for saving and fostering dogs in need, The Grateful Dog Rescue has been dedicated to making a difference since 2017. With over 2000 lives saved to date, we are committed to facilitating adoptions and implementing impactful policies to ensure every dog finds a loving home. Fill Out an Adoption Application
Be 18 Years of Age or Older
Completing the application process only takes 10-15 minutes of your time!
We’ve made it easier! The age requirement for adoption has been lowered from 21 to 18.

Final Approval
Once your application is approved, our adoptions coordinator will guide you through the final steps. If you don't hear from us within 72 hours, please email apps@thegratefuldogrescue.org to check your application status.

Our adoption process includes thorough reference checks, virtual home visits, and a copy of your drivers license/ID.

Welcome Your New Companion
Our adoptions coordinator will help you find the perfect match for your home and assist you in scheduling a meet and greet with your potential new furry friend.
Adoption Fees
Our adoption fees cover essential services including vaccines, microchip, heartworm and fecal tests, prevention, health certificate, and deworming. All dogs are spayed/neutered before adoption.
Adoption fees:
Puppies/Adults (10 months-7 years) $575
Seniors 8+ Years $400
Foster Application
Complete the foster application to help us find the most suitable match for you. Our team will reach out to initiate the orientation process.
Foster Orientation
New fosters are required to complete a brief fostering course, after which you will receive a certificate of completion. Submit your certificate to receive the necessary materials.
Welcome Your First Foster Dog!
Once your orientation is complete, you're ready to welcome your first foster dog! Your support is invaluable in saving lives and keeping the fostering cycle going.
Join Our Foster Community
Fostering is a rewarding experience. To qualify, individuals must be at least 18 years old and provide a loving environment for a dog in need. We provide all necessary materials, you provide the temporary, loving home.
